How to load downloaded worlds in minecraft

I have downloaded a map recently, I did all the steps, but it won't show up in the single player section. I double checked everything, also the resources packs. minecraft-java-edition. Some maps (or worlds) in Minecraft are downloaded as topfind247.cod /.mcpack file. To install such files go to your Downloads folder. Find the file and double-click it to install it and it will be automatically imported to your game. It might ask you to select an app to open it with.
